Hello, My name is Kim. I am also known as the Perry Aesthetician. I have been in the medical field for over 15 years and I have been a Licensed Aesthetician for almost 4. I started my business in 2018 after working for a local medical practice. I am laser certified and I have had many other certifications since becoming licensed. I am the owner of SKINfinity Studio and I offer many treatments from Spa Facials, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, Cosmetic Dermatology, and more. I started this business because I love meeting people and helping them. I love to help educate my clients/patients on different skin issues and treatments. What I love most about being an esthetician is changing lives and helping others. Our skin is important-it affects our mental, physical, & emotional well-being. I have been married for over 17 years, I have 1 son, he is 9 years old and does modeling and acting in Atlanta. I have an English bulldog named Gurlie, a black cat named Pickles, and a Ferret named Chester/Uncle Fester. I love animals, I used to be a photographer for local rescues. It’s in my blood and something I get from my mom. I have many memories of rescuing animals with my mom at a young age. Now I have a son and still do the same. I have even rescued a few Perdue chickens that fell off of the truck, they didn’t live long but at least they lived longer than being run over in the middle of the street.
I am very close to my family, family is everything. My mom is one of my best friends and I have more than 1 best friend! I have a small group I can tell anything to and I would trust with my world! They are also my family! I love them with all of my heart! They motivate me, encourage me and tell me when I’m wrong, they are MY tribe.
Faith is huge to me, I love my church in the park! I don’t make it every Sunday but I try to be a good person. I love worship music, you will hear Lauren Daigle on Pandora most in my studio! I want everyone to feel uplifted when they are with me! I am not perfect but I am a Christian woman, I try to be the best version of myself and God knows my heart!
I love to travel, especially to new places.I love to go on Cruises even though I get motion sickness. I have been to some really cool places including Mexico, Alaska, the Virgin Islands, Turks, and Caicos. My favorite places have been St. Thomas and Grand Turk. I have several places on my bucket list that include the Maldives, Costa Rica, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, and more.
I love to go camping, and spending time with my family and friends. I love to be outdoors, I recently bought a paddleboard since my son loves to kayak and the feeling of being out on the water is so amazing, I feel so relaxed and free. Although I have no balance and can hardly ride a bike We recently went to Madison Blue Springs near Jacksonville, Florida earlier this year for spring break. It was very cold but beautiful clear blue water and almost 30 feet deep. If you haven’t been, definitely add it to your bucket list. We love finding new places to travel, and we love taking our motorhome. It keeps us together, cheaper than a hotel, and it feels like home. We can take our own food/snacks, cook or eat out, bring games or even watch a movie. It’s a great way to travel and spend time as a family. I love animals, the GA Bulldogs football, going to concerts, and shopping.
I love all music, new country, old country, pop and I tend to throw some rap in there at times. Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Zac Brown Band, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, The Pentatonix Group, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Adele are just some of my favorites and I LOVE Christmas music and movies all year round! It puts me in the best mood and makes me happy.
I love scary movies, especially at night. I also like comedies, romantic comedies, thriller/ suspense movies. I love drama-filled reality tv shows. I love to snorkel, being in the ocean is so relaxing and thrilling at the same time! It makes me feel like a mermaid
I love to sing, I started singing at an early age and I actually auditioned for season 2 of American Idol. I didn’t make it very far but it was still a fun experience.
I love Mexican Food, Margaritas is my favorite place so you can find me there at least once a week. I also love Italian, and seafood! This girl can tear up some crab legs
I love the beach, I have recently taken up paddle boarding although I have no balance and can hardly ride a bike
Turquoise, Teal, Royal Blue, and Greens are my favorite colors. Orchids are my favorite flowers. I have an older sister, she is 3 years older than me. My husband and I have dealt with infertility for the past 17 years. It has been a very difficult journey, but I feel like God has a reason for everything as hard as it has been. We adopted our son at birth. He has 4 half-siblings from his birth family. He is our world, we are open to adopting again if it ever comes up but we are grateful every day for our son and our story. Many of you know my son is a Child Actor. He began modeling at 3 years old and he began acting at 6 years old. His first movie was Greenland with Gerard Butler, and he has been in a variety of shows including the Resident, Wanda Vision, Doom Patrol, and the new Wonder Years on ABC. He may only be a background actor but he enjoys it and meets new friends and could potentially have his own show or it can pay for his college one day so we support him any way we can.
I like to read thrilling books but also autobiographies. I tend to collect cookbooks, I can cook but I don’t cook enough! Pinterest is definitely my friend
Christmas is my favorite holiday, I love to be silly and have fun, Lavender is one of my favorite scents, I am very ADD, I tend to lose focus at times, I talk way too much at times. I can be loud, sometimes I get quiet and nervous around unfamiliar crowds. I also say a lot that doesn’t make sense, I like to say I get it from my mamma. I am a natural blonde, but I prefer to be a brunette. I love haunted houses, but I am not easily scared. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, but I am me.
I feel like you cannot live without laughter in your life! I try to always see the best in everyone and always have faith. I cannot live without music, and the ocean soothes my soul. This hopefully lets you get to know me a little better, and shows you a piece of who I am.
