DPN is a benign epidermal growth that presents as hyperpigmented or skin-colored papules that develop on the face and neck beginning in adolescence. It typically occurs in individuals with Fitzpatrick skin types III to VI, most commonly affecting people of African and Asian descent. DPN is a variant type of Seborrheic Keratosis, it appears as a small skin tag.
Treatment
The Skin Classic can remove a DPN easily and without bleeding, unlike other removal methods available. The Skin Classic vaporizes the tissue without damaging the surrounding tissue for a quicker, easier healing process with amazing results.
Prognosis & Aftercare
After being treated with the Skin Classic, the DPN will shed within a week on it’s own. Be sure not to pick at it! The tissue will heal within 28-30 days. Avoid any irritants or harsh products until the 30 day healing cycle is complete and always apply moisturizer and sunscreen. Avoid direct sunlight. These may reappear as skin ages and it is best to have them treated as soon as they are visible. Maintaining a good skin care regime can also aide in maintaining results and prevent reoccurring DPN results.
